Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders
- Working with women to cope before, during and after pregnancy
Since 2004, Kathryn has been working with women struggling with mood and anxiety issues related to pregnancy and postpartum. There is often pressure on women to "do it all," she will work with you to manage the responsibilities while finding time for your own health.
She will meet with you and your significant other to discuss the impact of starting a family, of becoming pregnant, coping with the changes during pregnancy and then the ups and downs after pregnancy. She will teach you tools to cope with your various roles at home and outside the home and being comfortable asking for help. The techniques can be applied immediately and help you find hope and strength once again.
